Description

1941 Grover Cleveland Alexander Signed Consent Waiver for The Pride of the Yankees Lou Gehrig Movie. Lou Gehrig's story can create enough tears to fill Yankee Stadium. After his demise, Gehrig's heartbreaking tale was featured on the silver screen in The Pride of the Yankees. Even the Babe makes a cameo appearance in the tear jerker. The letter is dated in pencil "11/8/41" and was signed in enough time for the movie. Vertical and horizontal folds appear. Also included is a an Inter-Communication form (8.5x5.25") from Samuel Goldwyn Inc. which is not signed or initialed. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
