1941 All-Star Game Pin Made into Ring.
Halfway through the last .400+ season in Major League history, Ted Williams demonstrated his flair for the dramatic with the first walk-off blast in All-Star Game history, turning a five to four defeat into a seven to five victory with two outs in the bottom of the ninth. On base, and scoring the tying run, was The Kid's Yankee nemesis Joe DiMaggio, forty-eight games into the greatest hitting streak in the existence of the Majors.

Whoever owned this 1941 All-Star pin went above and beyond the call of duty when they had it incorporated into a ring. The Dieges & Clust offering (14k gold) is molded into a ring (10k) which provides a perfect remembrance of baseball's noteworthy season. Four small diamonds are used for bases while "All Star Game American League" provides the base paths and "1941 Detroit" is raised against the image of a baseball on the face. One side has "All Star" while the opposite side features "1941." "10k" is engraved on the inner band of the size eleven and a half (11.5) rarity. Weight is twenty-two grams (22g.). An unmarked black case attends. Original purchase LOA.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
