    1940's -1950's Stan Musial Premiums & Team Photo Collection (5 Items). Stan Musial signed his first contract with the St. Louis Cardinals in 1938 as a pitcher. After converting to the outfield, he made his Major League debut in 1941. The 1942 season saw the Cardinals win the World Series. In 1943 he would earn his first MVP award and play in his first All-Star game. 1944 brought a second World Series championship and then missed the entire 1945 season while serving with the Navy. He would return to form in 1946 and the rest is baseball history. Offered is a collection of four items for the Musial or St. Louis Cardinals fan. Includes: 1) 1943 Sportsman's Park Concessions "St. Louis Cardinals... 1943" team photo (EX/MT); 2) Rare 1947 Bond Bread Stan Musial premium. 9x6-1-1/2" on this paper. Glue and paper on reverse.
