1939 Lou Gehrig Signed Note, PSA/DNA Gem Mint 10. Lou Gehrig's big league career took a dramatic turn in the early stages 1939. The swing which produced home runs at a steady rate didn't quite exhibit the same power. Those extra base hits were now only singles. The Iron Horse signed this typed note (6x4") in January of what would be his final season with the Yankees. The note reads "Sorry I missed you Coffin" and is signed by Gehrig in 10/10 black steel felt tip ink. Two compacting folds appear - away from the autograph. A Hotel Bedford envelope attends. Full Grading LOA from PSA/DNA, Gem Mint 10.
