    Description

1939 Hall of Fame Inaugural Class Signed Index Cards & Cut Signatures Lot of 9. The identity of a sleepy little town in upstate New York was transformed forever on June 12, 1939, the day the ribbon was cut at the newly founded Baseball Hall of Fame on the shores of Lake Otsego. Though Cooperstown had enjoyed some limited fame with its controversial proclamation as baseball's birthplace, never had the eyes of the nation been so keenly focused upon the leafy hamlet until the day that the greatest living ballplayers convened to receive the game's highest honor.

Presented here is a collection of PSA/DNA slabbed index cards and cut signatures featuring the cast of immortals (nine members) that shared the dais that historic afternoon. Included are the following: Connie Mack cut , George Sisler 3x5" index card, Honus Wagner cut, Ty Cobb cut, Eddie Collins cut PSA Mint 9, Napoleon Lajoie 3x5" index card NM-MT 8, Cy Young 3x5" index card Gem Mint 10, Tris Speaker 3x5" index card Gem Mint 10, Babe Ruth Mint 9.
