1939 Baseball Centennial Display with Program & Patch. With the arrival of Ted Williams, the departure of Lou Gehrig, and the grand opening of the Baseball Hall of Fame, the 1939 season would have been memorable even without its major anniversary. Presented is a pair of relics from that towering vintage. Featured is a program from the Hall of Fame ribbon-cutting and a patch worn on the sleeve of all Major League jerseys that year. We have not examined this material outside of the frame, so we cannot confirm condition, but they look great as showcased. Frame measures approximately 15x18".Auction Info
