1938 Scrapbook With Babe Ruth Signed Golf Scorecard. This large period scrapbook measures 12x14.5" and is full of newspaper clippings, letters and photographs on numerous different topics. In the back, though, is the hidden little gem. A St. Albans Golf Club scorecard signed by Ruth is pasted in the book along with a newspaper clipping describing the reporter interviewing Ruth during the course of the game. Incredible provenance with the article hand dated the same day as the scorecard, and great content in the interview with Ruth saying he was either going to manage a team or play golf. He also weighed in on a trade rumor involving former teammate Lou Gehrig. The signature is a solid 10/10 and the entire page of the scrapbook would look incredible matted and framed. One of the most solid Ruth signatures ever made available at auction. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
