1938 Joe McCarthy All-Star Presentation Ring & Tie Clasp. Joe McCarthy's playing days fizzled in the lower levels of the minors, but his managerial career landed him into the Hall of Fame. The Yankees' all-time leader in wins, McCarthy shares the record for most World Series titles with fellow Hall of Famer Casey Stengel. McCarthy was issued this size 11.75 ring for managing the 1938 All-Star Game. The National League downed the Junior Circuit 4-1 in the sixth installment of the exhibition.

The ring's face has "All Star Game American League Cincinnati 1938" set against an eagle and a diamond. The right shank has "All Star 1938" while the opposite side showcases "N.L.4 A.L.1 1938."" Text reporting, "Joe McCarthy Manager 10 Karat Dieges & Clust" is etched inside. Weight is twenty grams (20g.). A black velvet pouch attends. Also included is McCarthy's tie clasp which was issued to the manager. "10 Karat Dieges & Clust" is engraved. The circular gold pendant is no longer present. A signed letter from hobby pioneer Barry Halper authenticates the tie clasp. Letter of provenance from Barry Halper (tie clasp).
