    Description

1936 Babe Ruth's Baseball Game. The most powerful spokesman in the sport throws his considerable weight behind this creation by Milton Bradley. A youthful Babe with facsimile signature appears on the cover, and all sides of the box lid repeat his handwritten "My own authorized Baseball Game, 'Babe' Ruth" in the iconic slugger's distinctive script. Game is comprised of eighty-five cards which determine the situation and wooden pegs used as runners. One of the most popular Ruth-endorsed games for the marvelous period graphics. Typical surface wear to the packaging, but contents of box are in quite strong condition. Dimensions of box 10x19x2".

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
