1935 St. Louis Cardinals Broadside with Dean Brothers. Dizzy and Daffy use their considerable star power, particularly following their monumental 1934 "Gashouse Gang" season, to draw in the crowds for a doubleheader and two single games against the rival Chicago Cubs. Each photographic image offers a rare glimpse of what it would be like to face these fraternal fireballers, and bold text announces dates, times and the location of "3 Big Days of Baseball." A degree of weathering is certainly to be expected, as these signs were posted around St. Louis over seven decades ago, but the visual strength is still impressive. Dimensions are 8x17.5", with matting and framing stretching the tape to 13x22.5".
