    1935 Honus Wagner Handwritten Letter to Ford Frick Thanking Him for Lifetime Pass, PSA/DNA Mint 9. Honus Wagner had a heart of gold. After receiving his National League lifetime pass, which allowed him access to any Senior Circuit game of his choosing, the Flying Dutchman took it upon himself to write to league President Ford Frick and express his appreciation. The following is written by Wagner to Frick in 10/10 black ink.

    My Dear Mr. Frick. I beg to acknowledge yours of April 13th in which I recieved (sic) a Life time pass for all games in the National League. I assure you I appreciate the same.

    Vertical and horizontal fold marks are visible on the The Sinton St. Nicholas stationery. We checked the Pirates schedule and they did play in Cincinnati Thursday, April 25. Full Grading LOA from PSA/DNA, Mint 9. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
