    Description

1932 Ty Cobb Double-Signed Check. The Georgia Peach withdraws seventy-five dollars in cash four years after his retirement from the sport he dominated for more than two decades. All ink is in Cobb's 9/10 black fountain pen ink, with "Tyrus R. Cobb" signatures appearing on both front and verso. A bit of the original stub is affixed to left end of the check, affecting none of the writing, and bank stamping likewise causes little distraction. A top-tier example of a hobby staple. Encapsulated by PSA/DNA, Authentic. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
