    Description

1930's Pat Ragan Major League Baseball Silver Lifetime Pass. In 1912, Regan pitched Brooklyn's last game in Washington Park before the move to Ebbets Field. In 1914, he became the third pitcher in Major League history to strike out three batters on nine pitches. In 1919, he played one game for the ill-fated Chicago Black Sox. After his eleven-year Major League came to an end, Ragan was duly honored in silver with the presented artifact.

The shimmering silver pass (4.25x2.75") bears the maker's mark of "Lambert Bros Jewelers NY" on verso, with text on front boldly proclaiming "The National - American Major Leagues of Professional Baseball Present this Lifetime Pass to Pat Ragan in Appreciation of Long and Meritorious Service." The facsimile signatures of League presidents Harridge and Frick appear at bottom. The piece shows some expected tarnishing, but this could easily be remedied at the winning bidder's preference. Lot includes 1910 Eastern League baseball which was obtained, with the silver pass, from Ragan's son.

Just wanted to let you know how pleased I am regarding the sale of my hockey jersey. You were great to work with, you answered all my phone calls and e-mails in a prompt manner, and you did a great job marketing the jersey.
