1930's Casey Stengel Presentational Watch from the Casey Stengel Collection. The height of art deco fashion, this watch was proudly sported on the left wrist of the celebrated Hall of Famer after he received it as a gift from a local jeweler. The gold-filled rectangle Bulova is highly collectible simply as a fine timepiece, but the appeal is magnified tremendously by the impressive provenance. Engraved on the verso of the case are the words, "Presented to Casey Stengel by The Heesen Co. Jewelers." Though the watch does not seem to be currently functional, a skilled watch repairman could certainly get it ticking again, and the fine condition otherwise will make it a real stunner. Original leather wristband is here as well.
