    Description

1930 New York Giants Silver Season Pass. Big Apple baseball and political history collide with this personal possession of John F. Hylan, who served as Mayor of New York City from 1918 to 1925. As Rudy Giuliani has taught us, one of the great perks of the office is a lifetime of good seats at baseball games! This pass is the first half of a two-year theme, picturing three fans anxiously awaiting a decisive pitch. The 1931 pass (not included) presents the unhappy conclusion. "Giants 1930" is spelled above "Chas. A. Stoneham, Pres." on obverse, with "Hon. John F. Hylan" and the serial number "564" engraved on verso. Maker's mark, "Lambert Bros, NY, Sterling," is at bottom verso. Mild wear, EX-MT.
