Description
1930 Lou Gehrig & Herb Pennock Signed Ticket. The Iron Horse made the trip out to West Chester, Pennsylvania to attend Elks Club dinner in honor of his Hall of Fame teammate Herb Pennock where this 7x3.25" keepsake was autographed by the pair. We call the item a "ticket," but acknowledge that others might consider it an "invitation" or apply some other term. But the real importance here is not the name of the item itself but rather those of the signers, as both Yankee legends sign the paper stock relic in the boldest of fountain pen ink. A third signature, that of Chicago White Sox shortstop Bill Hunnefield, is equally fine and completes the three-man signing roster. LOA from James Spence Authentication.
