1925 Miller Huggins New York Yankees Payroll Check Signed by Huggins, Ed Barrow & Jacob Ruppert, PSA/DNA Authentic. Small in stature but enormous in Yankee relevance and collecting appeal, Hall of Fame manager Miller Huggins earned his Cooperstown bronze primarily for the six American League flags and three World Championships claimed during a dozen seasons in pinstripes. The man charged with the challenge of keeping the boisterous Babe under control endorsed this June 15, 1925 payroll check issued to him by "The American League Base Ball Club of New York, Inc." with an 8/10 black ink signature on verso. Front is signed by fellow Hall of Famer Ed Barrow and team owner Jake Ruppert in equally bold vintage ink. Vertical center fold remains clear of all autographs. Huggins' sudden passing in 1929 served to secure his position as one of the Hall's most challenging autographs, and you'll find few more appealing examples than this tough full name "Miller J. Huggins" example. Encapsulated by PSA/DNA, Authentic.
