1924 Herb Pennock New York Yankees Payroll Check Signed by Pennock, Ed Barrow & George Ruppert. A twenty-one and nine record earned the Yankees ace a fourth-place finish in MVP balloting this year, making his salary seem like a bargain for Yankee brass. Pennock endorses the verso of this paycheck in 9/10 black fountain pen ink, while fellow Hall of Famer Ed Barrow and Jacob Ruppert's brother George sign obverse.
