Description1920's-2000's 500 Home Run Club Display Signed by Twenty-Two! 1920's-2000's 500 Home Run Club Display Signed by Twenty-Two! While you'll often encounter the signed Ron Lewis poster that serves as the backbone of this remarkable display, you'll likewise find that the vast majority of collectors stop right there. But one intrepid hobbyist decided to leave no slugger behind, crafting a gorgeous display piece that includes every last member of the Club as of about the year 2000. In chronological order, we begin with a 3x4" photo of Babe Ruth, autographed in 8/10 fountain pen ink beneath a yellowed area of removed tape. An original snapshot of Jimmie Foxx bears a secretarial 10/10 black fountain pen offering. Next is Mel Ott (traced), in 9/10 black ink on another original snapshot.
That then brings us to the Ron Lewis piece, signed in 9/10 or better blue sharpie by Williams, Robinson, Killebrew, Jackson, Mantle, Mays, Aaron, Schmidt, Banks, Mathews and McCovey.
Moving into the modern age, we find the following upon 8x10" photos at the upper left and right corners: McGwire (secretarial) and Murray (secretarial), each in 9+/10 sharpie. Below are signed trading cards, also flawlessly signed by Bonds, Sosa, Palmeiro, Griffey, Frank Thomas (secretarial) and, apparently with the hope/expectation he was en route to the Club, Jeff Bagwell (who retired with 449 to his credit).
The Club has grown in the past decade, but it shouldn't be tough at all to get the piece up to date, so this is a lot for a man who's seeking a project. The display is professionally matted and framed to dimensions of 41x43". Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Third party shipping required.
