1917 Honus Wagner Signed Check Display.

The embodiment of the American dream, Honus Wagner was the son of German immigrants who rose from humble beginnings to national greatness. Honus owned the first decade of the twentieth century, recording his finest season (and some say the greatest in N.L. history) in 1908 by leading in virtually every offensive category. With both leagues hitting .238, Wagner was first in batting (.354), hits, doubles, triples, RBI's, stolen bases, on base percentage, slugging percentage, offensive winning percentage, total bases, and second in home runs and runs scored. A $2,000 check drawn on "The First National Bank of Carnegie" is signed "John H. Wagner" (8/10) and dates from his last year as a player. Matted and framed (18x15.5") with four images from his career. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
