    1908 Major League Baseball Debut Year Signed Index Cards and Government Postcards Lot of 27. This is a partial portion of an extended autograph collection that includes over 10,000 index cards, signed baseballs and signed photos. Our consignor's father was a pioneer sports autograph collector. He passed away in 1975 and this collection had been in storage until now.

    Offered in collections of the players' debut season in the Major Leagues, this lot includes the following notable index cards and Government postcards (signature condition averages 9/10 ink) Also, please note that the majority exhibits light to moderate wear, with the debut year neatly written in the corner and the players' name written on the verso: Joe Wood (2), Amos Strunk (2), Fred Snodgrass (3), Royal Shaw, Al Schwetzer, Harry Pattee, Jack Barry, Andrew O'Connor (2), Thomas McMillan, John Flater, Ben Egan, Pat Donahue (2), Clifford Cravath, Arthur Campbell, Owen Bush, John Bliss, Hippo Vaughn, John Wilson and others.
