1908 Baseball in Cincinnati First Edition Book. Four decades of baseball history, beginning with the formation of the world's first professional team in 1867, are recounted in this essential volume published in 1908. Dust jacket is missing but the book survives in admirable condition otherwise, with a pinhead sized hole at the intersection of spine and front cover and mild handling wear evident on the exterior. Some toning of the internal pages is of little concern, and all pages remain firmly held within the original binding. A very solid example of this scarce book, one of the first baseball histories ever published.Auction Info
