Description
1889 Albert Reach Handwritten & Signed Letter to Harry Wright. Both the sender and the recipient of this thrilling letter rate among the most essential pioneers of our national pastime, each earning a well-deserved immortality at Cooperstown. Reach uses a sheet of his gorgeous personal letterhead to discuss scheduling and financial matters regarding Wright's stewardship of the Philadelphia Quakers, who would finish fourth in the National League the year this letter was sent.Reach signs at lower right of the front of the page then flips the sheet to discuss a new style of baseball the Reach company has innovated, asking if Wright has any opinions. He signs this postscript with his "AJR" initials. All text is 9/10 or better. Small separation of mailing fold at bottom of page affects only one word.
