1887 Sketches of the New York [Giants] Base Ball Club. Effectively one of the earliest baseball team yearbooks ever produced, this fifty-two-page softcover volume written by June Rankin and published by the press that released The Police Gazette features marvelous woodcut portrait illustrations and biographies of twenty team members including Roger Connor, James O'Rourke, Buck Ewing, Mickey Welch, Tim Keefe, John Ward and more. Also within are schedules of the 1887 National League, the home schedules for both New York and Brooklyn, and a marvelous array of period advertisements from the likes of Spalding Sporting Goods. The covers are chipped and detached, and heavy foxing appears throughout, but these concerns must be considered within the context of the publication's intense rarity. Another (higher-grade) example appears in the Main Session of this auction.

Just wanted to let you know how pleased I am regarding the sale of my hockey jersey. You were great to work with, you answered all my phone calls and e-mails in a prompt manner, and you did a great job marketing the jersey.
