    1887 Jim Cudworth Presentational Walking Stick. James A. Cudworth played one season with the Kansas City Cowboys of the Union Association in 1884. Affectionately known as Cuddy, Cudworth's professional career spanned a dozen years as he starred on the diamonds in Massachusetts. This walking cane was presented to the diamond fixture in 1887. "Presented to Jas. A Cudworth July 4th 1884 by Lowell friends" is engraved on the handle. Cudworth played for Lowell in the New England League from 1887-88. This catalog listing shows wear but is complete and has no major blemishes. Measures 34.5".
