1885-1937 Reach Official American Association & American League Baseball Guides Lot of 22. An exceptional assortment of very early baseball reading material for the avid historian. The bulk of the offering features the Reach Official American League Baseball Guide, with the following years present: 1905, 1907, 1909, 1910, 1911, 1913, 1917, 1919, 1920, 1924, 1925, 1926, 1929, 1932, 1933, 1934, 1936 (2), 1937. Many have been rebound, with all but one in hardcover form. Three are essentially held together with rubber bands, but all are entirely complete and legible. Also here are a rebound copy of Reach's Base Ball Guide for 1894, Reach's Official American Association Base Ball Guide for 1885, and finally Spalding's Official Base Ball Record for 1916. Again, condition averages Fair to Good, but all are legible and complete. The vast majority are stamped in the back by their former owner, Bill Veeck, as are the Spalding Guides also in the auction.
