When the Dodgers used their final pick of the 1988 draft on Mike Piazza in the 62nd round, they had no idea they were getting a 12-time All-Star backstop and Rookie of the Year. But the mighty Piazza's impact on the game was huge -- a force that could not be ignored. Here we present a fine offering of some of the star's on-field wear in the form of this black pair of Asics cleats. Mike's jersey number "31" has been embroidered at each heel and plenty of wear is evident throughout. Startling memento from one of the premier catchers of his time.
