This trio of undershirts comes to us via the Casey Stengel Collection and were most likely worn by the Hall of Fame skipper during the late 1950s or 1960s. The trio of shirts includes: 1) Tim McAuliffe three-button shirt with navy sleeves, "Stengal" embroidered at back of collar. Team repair found just beneath surname. 2) Three-button Winsted shirt with navy sleeves, "STENGEL" in sharpie beneath collar on verso. Size [44]. 3) Rawlings Duofold three-button shirt with royal blue sleeves, a faded "Stengel" and "37" found written in sharpie below the collar on verso. All three shirts show considerable wear from the legendary leader of both the Mets and the Yankees.
