1997-99 Craig Biggio Game Worn Houston Astros Cap. The Houston Astros have endured countless transformations in their attire. One of the short-lived experiments was incorporating gold into the bill of their caps. From 1997-99 the team adopted a gold-inspired bill which made them stand out. Hall of Famer Craig Biggio sported this "New Era size 7" cap during the referenced time period. Soil marks are found on the middle of the bill and underneath. The headband shows moderate sweat buildup. "7" is written on the underside. This was originally obtained by a team source. LOA from Heritage Auctions.Auction Info
