    Description

1974 Atlanta Braves Game Worn Hat Attributed to Eddie Mathews. Eddie Mathews was the only man to follow the Braves from Boston to Milwaukee and then to Atlanta. A lifelong Brave, Mathews lent his considerable knowledge to future generations when he became a coach for the Atlanta Braves. We attribute this "Wilson [size] 7 1/8" cap to the 500 home run club member. "41" is written in vintage marker and great sweat buildup is visible under the brim and in the headband. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
