1967 Bob Tolan Game Worn St. Louis Cardinals World Series Cap with Signed Letter from Tolan. The St. Louis Cardinals have a long and time-honored tradition. Baseball fans in St. Louis are regarded as the best of them all. In 1967, the team grabbed the brass ring as it downed the Red Sox in a seven-game series. Reserve outfielder Bob Tolan wore this "New Era [size] 7 1/8" cap when he participated in the Fall Classic. "17" and "Tolan" appear on the brim. Tolan signed a letter of provenance. He wrote this on the underside of the brim: "Worn by me in the 1967 World Series Bobby Tolan" in 9/10 felt tip ink. The cap shows good game wear. Letter of provenance from Bob Tolan. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
