Late 1960's Nellie Fox Signed Bat. It's the first example we've ever encountered, and our database of auction results from all major houses compiled over the past decade would appear to agree that this could be the only Nellie Fox single signed bat in the hobby. Oddly, the medium is an unused game issued model once belonging to a rookie-era George Scott of the Boston Red Sox. We may never know the relevance of this relationship, but it's of little concern. The bat has weathered the passing decades marvelously, and Fox' black ink signature on the barrel remains an impressive 8+/10.
