Circa 1998 Jeff Bagwell Game Used Bat, PSA/DNA GU 8.5. The halls of Cooperstown are opening for Houston Astros favorite Jeff Bagwell. The slugger had to wait his turn, but now the term "Hall of Famer" can be placed next to his name. This Stix bat (33" and 32.5 ounces) was used by the Killer Bees' main man in 1998. Bags hit .304 and smacked thirty-four homers as his team won 102 games. The uncracked bat has multiple ball marks on the back barrel and stitch impressions from use. PSA/DNA Bat Authenticator John Taube gave the bat a grade of GU 8.5. Moderate pine tar buildup surrounds the trademark and extends to the handle. "5" is written on the knob in gold paint pen which matches the 9/10 signature on the barrel. LOA from PSA/DNA, GU 8.5. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA (autograph).
