Circa 1951 Duke Snider Game Used Gil Hodges Bat, PSA/DNA GU 8.
Intriguing "cross-over" piece links two of the most beloved Bums of them all. PSA/DNA bat expert John Taube's letter of examination includes photographic imagery making the case that the criss-cross handle tape application on this Gil Hodges signature model Adirondack 106A places it into the hands of his Hall of Fame center field teammate. The borrowed lumber exhibits massive game wear, with plentiful ball marks, grain checking, and two colors of rack streaks. Handle is uncracked. Length is thirty-five inches (35"), weight just under thirty-five ounces (34.7 oz.). LOA from PSA/DNA, GU 8.
