Description

Circa 1919 "Shoeless Joe" Jackson Decal Bat, PSA/DNA Authentic. Only a whisper of the original decal remains after countless afternoons at the sandlot, but the "40 JJ" stamping in the Hillerich & Bradsby trademark connects the ancient relic to the most significant figure of the 1919 World Series fixing scandal. Length is thirty-three inches (33"), weight thirty-eight ounces (37.7 oz.). Heavy use with checking and minor loss to back barrel, tacked down with vintage nails. LOA from PSA/DNA, Authentic.
