    Description

    c. 1973-75 Vada Pinson Game Used Bat.
Compared at a young age to the likes of Aaron, Mantle, and Mays, Vada Pinson may not have had the illustrious career that the aforementioned trio did but 18 years in the bigs with a .286 average and 256 home runs in nothing to be ashamed of. In his first five full seasons he tallied more base hits than Musial, Mays, Aaron, and Frank Robinson did in theirs.

Offered is a cracked 34.5" Louisville Slugger Genuine Pinson R161 model bat. Solid game usage is evident throughout with ball marks on the barrel and heavy tar on the handle. Some taping on the upper handle obscures the crack. Both the knob and end cap feature an intertwined "VP" written in red marker. Presence of the "®" above the 'D' in "POWERIZED" branding dates the bat from 1973 to 1975, when Pinson played with the Angels and Royals. Letter of Provenance from Kansas City Royals Batboy.

Just wanted to let you know how pleased I am regarding the sale of my hockey jersey. You were great to work with, you answered all my phone calls and e-mails in a prompt manner, and you did a great job marketing the jersey.
