Description

2015 Mike Trout Home Runs 7 & 8 (Career 105-106) Game Used & Signed Bat, PSA/DNA GU 9. The greatest ballplayer that ever lived? It's still a bit early to make such a bold declaration, but unless this supremely talented youngster stumbles from his current trajectory, that distinction could very well become his legacy. The ultimate five-tool player, Trout has slugged in the top four for the American League in each of his nine Angels campaigns, and, at .581 for his career, is north of some names that may sound familiar--Stan Musial, Mickey Mantle, Willie Mays, etc.

The offered personal model Old Hickory MT27 exhibits game use characterized as "outstanding" by the experts at PSA/DNA, revealing the deep stitch impressions and pronounced ball marks that speak the power that earned him his first of three American League slugging championships (.590) to date. We also find cleat divots, a weighted donut impression, and pine tar on the taped and cracked handle. Length is thirty-three and a half inches (33.5"), weight thirty-three ounces (32.9 oz.).

Trout's silver sharpie signature on the barrel is notated with the bat's unique history: "15 G/U HR #7 vs. Sea, HR #8 vs. Hou." Further assurance is supplied by Major League Baseball authentication documenting the bat was cracked on May 8, 2015, a day after Trout's eighth long ball. A letter from his personal marketing company likewise attends. LOA from PSA/DNA, GU 9. MLB Authentic HZ376696. LOA from Anderson Authentics.
