    Description

2013 Jose Altuve Game Used Bat with Coach's Letter, PSA/DNA GU 9. Jose Altuve proves the point that you don't need to be a behemoth to excel on the diamond. The 5' 6" second baseman already has three batting titles, American League MVP and World Series title to his impressive athletic resume. The heartbeat of the Astros, Altuve swung this Tucci Lumber (33" and 33.1 ounces) during the 2013 season. Faint ink transfers are found on the back barrel and there are ball marks visible. A light crack on the handle spelled the end of the line for this particular walloping stick. Stretch athletic tape lines the handle. The cupped portion of the barrel end has "27" written for identification purposes. The bat originates from the personal collection of former Major Leaguer Leon Roberts. Roberts has served as a coach for the Astros in Spring Training. LOA from PSA/DNA, GU 9. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA (letter of provenance). Auction LOA from SGC (letter of provenance).
