2012 Bryce Harper Game Used Bat, PSA/DNA GU 10--Rookie of the Year Season! The bad boy of baseball was still a teenager when he put the offered Marucci Luke 1:37 Custom Cut lumber through its paces, representing the Syracuse Chiefs in his final minor league contests before bursting onto the Major League scene as the 2012 National League Rookie of the Year. It should go without saying that rookie-season material from superstar players carry tremendous collecting appeal, and this is one of the earliest Harper items ever presented at auction.

The custom maple beauty exhibits outstanding game use, with ball marks, stitch impressions, ink transfers and cleat marks on the barrel, and spiral tape with Mota stick on the uncracked handle. The stamping on the knob provides such details as Harper's jersey number (34), the date of manufacture (01/28/12), the bat's length (4) and weight (2.5). Of course, the length and weight identifiers are shortened by thirty.

The PSA/DNA letter notes that the bat has been model-matched to photography of Harper with the 2012 Syracuse Chiefs, and those images are included in the documentation. LOA from PSA/DNA, GU 10.
