    Description

2011 Derek Jeter Game Used & Signed Bat with Jeter Letter. Though his great moments in a Yankees uniform are almost too numerous to count, his July 9th of the season this bat saw action will always rate near the top. After becoming the second man (after Wade Boggs) to join the 3,000 Hit Club with a home run blast, The Captain kept right on trucking, closing the day with a game-winning RBI and a five-for-five stat line. While the bat that punched his ticket to the Clubhouse is fittingly awaiting its master at Cooperstown where Jeter will lead the 2020 Class, it is identical in format to the presented signature model P72.

Solid ball marks and deep stitch impressions adorn the barrel, which shows the start of grain checking from the punishment. Pine tar remains on the handle. Stamping on knob reports: "1/27/2011, 34.0/32.0," revealing production date, length and weight. Silver sharpie signature on barrel rates 9/10. Letter of provenance on Steiner letterhead is signed by Jeter. LOA from PSA/DNA, GU 8. Letter of provenance from Derek Jeter/Steiner Sports. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
