Description

2011 Albert Pujols Two Home Runs on Jackie Robinson Day Game Used Bat, PSA/DNA GU 10. Linked in history as fellow National League Rookies of the Year, Robinson and Pujols gained an added association as the latter launched two long balls wearing the number "42" on April 15, 2011, the sixty-third anniversary of the former's Major League debut. Custom Marucci AP5-M exhibits excellent use from that contest (and likely several others), with great ball marks and stitch impressions, and pine tar still sticky on the uncracked handle. Number "5" stamped into knob along with "4/12/11" production date. Length thirty-four inches (34"), weight thirty-three ounces (33 oz.). Bold silver sharpie inscription on barrel reads, "Jackie Robinson Day, 2 Homeruns, 4-15-11, Albert Pujols." A particularly special representation from one of the greatest sluggers of all time. LOA from PSA/DNA, GU 10. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
