2009 Derek Jeter Playoffs Game Used & Signed Bat with Jeter Letter. The "10/6/2009" date stamping on this signature model Louisville Slugger P72, and the included letter from Derek Jeter certifying "that I have personally used this bat during the 2009 Major League season" would attribute the heavy game use to the Captain's final successful playoff run to the World Championship. It's one of the most "pounded" Jeter gamers we've encountered, with significant grain separation on a barrel coated with ball marks and deep stitch impressions. We also find rack streaks, ink transfers, and light tar on the uncracked handle. Length and weight are likewise stamped on the knob: "34/32oz." Barrel is signed "Derek Jeter, Game Used" in 9/10 silver sharpie. Sourced from Steiner Sports, the official marketing company for Yankees game used gear. LOA from Steiner Sports signed by Derek Jeter. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
