2005 Mark Teixeira Game Used Bat. One of the most feared hitters in the American League is Texas Rangers first baseman Mark Teixeira. He was put on the Rangers major league roster right out of college and has justified his promise by being the Rangers main power hitter since his arrival. This black Rawlings piece of lumber shows medium game use. Many ball marks and ball stitch marks are visible on the right, left and back barrel. Ball marks include blue ink transfers and white leather scuffs. The model number (456B), order number (180) and year (05) are stamped into the knob. His number (23) is also on the knob in silver marker. Tex's autograph is also on the front in silver marker. The bat is thirty-three and a half inches and weighs thirty-two and a half ounces. The PSA grade is GU8. Tex keeps all his game bats and ones that find their way into the market place are uncommon.LOA from Taube/Malta. LOA from James Spence Authentication. LOA from PSA/DNA.
