    Description

2005 Bernie Williams Game Used Bat, PSA/DNA GU 9. Completely "pounded" Rawlings Big Stick MDW20 made the transition from tool of the trade to gift for Bobby Murcer on the fourth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, signed and dated on the barrel with Williams' perfect silver sharpie. Jason Giambi's first inning home run off of Boston Red Sox knuckleballer Tim Wakefield that day would prove to be the only run in a pitcher's duel that saw only six hits in total. But this bat clearly saw action prior to that rivalry contest, as the barrel is coated with ball marks and stitch impressions. Handle is uncracked. Length thirty-four and a half inches (34.5"), weight thirty-three and a half ounces (33.5 oz.). LOA from PSA/DNA, GU 9. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Letter of provenance from family of Bobby Murcer.
