Description

2004 Derek Jeter Game Used & Signed Bat, PSA/DNA GU 9. An important season for the Yankee captain, one best remembered for "The Dive," a spectacular catch in the third base stands that ended a Red Sox threat and left Jeter bruised and bloodied at the conclusion. Though the future Hall of Fame shortstop slumped at the onset of the 2004 season at the plate, he soon caught fire and posted some of his greatest power numbers, including a career-best forty-four doubles and second-best twenty-three long balls. The outstanding use on the presented signature model Louisville Slugger P72 (34" and 30.5 ounces) was clearly responsible for some of those tallies, with multiple ball marks and stitch impressions decorating the barrel. Remnants of Mota stick and donut impressions are found on the barrel of the uncracked stick. Jeter sealed the deal with a 10/10 signature in silver paint pen. LOA from PSA/DNA, GU 9. COA from Steiner (autograph). Full LOA from PSA/DNA (autograph).
