Description

2004 Alex Rodriguez Game Used & Signed ALDS Home Run Bat with Rodriguez Letter, PSA/DNA GU 10. It was arguably A-Rod's greatest night in the Bronx, launching a solo shot in the bottom of the fifth to break a tie with the Minnesota Twins in Game Two of the ALDS before doubling home the game-tying run in the bottom of the twelfth, setting up a Hideki Matsui walk-off sacrifice fly to even the series. This signature model Louisville Slugger C271 is the home run bat from that game, identified as such by Rodriguez himself, who signs in 9/10 silver sharpie with an inscription that reads, "Game Used 10/6/04, ALDS 1st NYY Playoff HR, Yankee Stadium vs. Radke."

The bat is absolutely pounded with game use, with endless ball marks, stitch impressions, cleat marks and heavy pine tar and Mota stick that still has some Yankee Stadium grass stuck to it. Handle is uncracked. Length is thirty-four inches (34"), weight thirty ounces (29.8 oz.). A letter of provenance from A-Rod, complete with photos of him signing this bat, is included. LOA from PSA/DNA, GU 10. Letter of provenance from Alex Rodriguez. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
