Description

2004 Alex Rodriguez Game Used & Signed 350th Career Home Run Bat with Player Letter, PSA/DNA GU 8.5. The Yanks were trailing the Oakland A's 8-3 in the top of the seventh inning when A-Rod smashed a three-run blast to silence the Network Associates Coliseum crowd. Five batters later, Ruben Sierra would double home three more Yankee baserunners to take a lead they'd never relinquish, providing the Bronx Bombers with one of their most thrilling victories of the 2004 season.

This is the signature model Louisville Slugger C271 that launched that essential homer, one that just happened to carry A-Rod to an even tally of 350 for his illustrious career. Clearly the bat saw plenty of action beyond that dramatic round-tripper, as its barrel is coated with ball marks, stitch impressions, cleat marks, ink transfers and a weighted donut imprint. Handle is cracked and coated with pine tar. Rodriguez has autographed the barrel in 9/10 silver sharpie, adding a handwritten notation reading, "Game Used 2004, 350th Career HR, 5-4-04." Length is thirty-four inches (33.875"), weight twenty-nine ounces (29 oz.). LOA from PSA/DNA, GU 8.5. Letter of provenance from Alex Rodriguez. LOA from Heritage Auctions. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
