    Description

2002 Derek Jeter Game Used & Signed Bat with Jeter Letter, PSA/DNA GU 10.
Update: A PSA Full LOA is included for the signed letter of provenance

After the heartbreak of the 9/11 terror attacks and a stunning 2001 World Series Game Seven loss, the Bronx Bombers stormed back to the top of the American League East in 2002 with Jeter supplying 191 hits to the cause. The presented signature model Louisville Slugger P72 exhibits outstanding use from that dominant season, with ball marks, stitch impressions, cleat marks, a weighted donut impression and heavy Mota stick on the uncracked handle.

Length of thirty-four inches (34") and weight of thirty-one and a half ounces (31.4 oz.) perfectly match factory ordering records, and a silver sharpie signature from the future Hall of Famer was applied the next season, making note of a new honor: "Derek Jeter, Captain 6-3-03." A top-tier example of one of the most important bats of the modern era. LOA from PSA/DNA, GU 10. Letter of provenance from Derek Jeter. MLB Authentic (autograph) MT00344080. Full LOA from SGC Authentic autograph on item. Auction LOA from SGC Authentic autograph on letter of provenance. Full LOA from PSA/DNA for autograph on letter of provenance.
