2001 Jim Thome Game Issued & Signed Bat. Jim Thome was one of the most prolific power hitters in MLB history, known for his massive home runs, patience at the plate, and humble personality. Over a 22-season career (1991-2012), primarily with the Cleveland Indians, he hit 612 home runs, ranking eighth all-time, while also drawing 1,747 walks, showcasing his elite plate discipline. A five-time All-Star, Thome was a key part of Cleveland's powerhouse teams in the 1990s, helping them reach the 1995 and 1997 World Series, and later became a respected veteran presence for teams like the Phillies, White Sox, and Twins. Inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2018, his legacy is defined by tape-measure homers, professionalism, and being one of baseball's most beloved sluggers.
