2001 Derek Jeter Game Issued World Series Bat. The 2001 baseball postseason hammered home the point that sports can heal even the deepest of wounds. Our nation was shaken to its core following the tragic events of 9-11. The Yankees spirited postseason run helped divert some of the sense of vulnerability, especially for New Yorker's. While the Diamondbacks edged the pinstriped crew in Game Seven, the memories created that series will last a lifetime. This game-issued bat (34" and 31 ounces) never made it past the bat rack. There is Mota stick on the handle but no appreciable use. The model number, Jeter's facsimile signature and "2001 World Series" are engraved on the barrel. LOA from PSA/DNA, Authentic.
